Biography
Jiayi Cao received his Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University and his Master of Science degree from Cornell University. He joined the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Professor Farrokh Ayazi.
Research
His research focuses on the fabrication of advanced MEMS devices, with particular emphasis on silicon carbide (SiC)-based microelectromechanical systems, high-aspect-ratio dry etching, and copper and nickel electroplating techniques for next-generation inertial sensors and resonators.
